It's Been a Long Time

So I just took a look at the most recent articles from the Forum, and man, it's been something like a year and a half since anyone's posted anything.

I'm currently rereading LotR in preparation for my annual viewing of the movies (I've already finished The Silmarillion and The Hobbit.). If there's anyone out there, I've spent a lot of time in this space in the past pointing out how the book is far superior to the movies and how the movies got a lot of things wrong, especially philosophically. But what I'd like to know is, Is there anything in the movies people can think of that did not merely work better in the movies because of the nature of the medium but would have actually been better had Tolkien written LotR as it was presented in the movies?
