Biography
Born in May 25, 1939 in Burnley, England. Parents were Denis and
Margery McKellen. Family moved to Wigan before the outbreak of World War II. He was
fascinated with theatre right from the start. He acted at many of the schools he attended.
His acting debut was in 1965. He publicly announced that he was gay in 1988. |
