News and debate forums are active again

It looks like a few parts of the site have been broken for several months. I've fixed the problems so you can resume posting to the debate forum, submitting news, etc.
I apologize for the downtime. I had moved the site to a new web host with a slightly different configuration. This configuration difference caused a subtle change in the way variables were handled in my code, causing lots of pages on the site to break.
What about the future of the site itself? I plan on posting an update shortly about where we've been and where I'd like to go. The site has been stagnant for quite a while. I hope to change that.
