I wish everyone would stop complaining about these LOTR films. I mean, Peter Jackson is attempting the herculian task of even attempting to make these films, and you're worried about the loss of Bombadil and the Barrow-Downs, etc.

I hope these films compare to the excellent Ralph Bakshi LORD OF THE RINGS production, as I found that this adaption compared closest to how i imagined the characters, places and races of Middle-earth.

I have always treasured Tolkien's stories, and although I am admiring Peter Jackson's quest to turn them into movies, I think that nobody will create a good enough adaption except if Tolkien directed them.
