I recently viewed several pictures of characters in the Lord of the Rings movie and several details got me thinking.

The first detail is of Gandalf. Where is his bushy eyebrows that he used to bat at others, which could bring fear into the souls of others if he was angry with them. Perhaps when Pippin the "fool of a Took" tossed a stone into a well in Moria and made a loud splash Gandalf needs these brows to wake up Pippin into the seriousness of the quest.

The second detail of a photo is of Aragorn. I never pictured Strider wearing
a black leather jacket with what looks like a zipper! Donning a cow does not seem the attire of a ranger.
