I'm glad to see that you are all watchful about the Arwen and Bombadil "case".
Maybe it's time to start a petition...

To me, Bombadil is a very refreshing character. Curiously, it's one of the most important ones. He interferes twice with the story, and he gives hope in the darkest moments of the journey of the Hobbits.

Without Bombadil, I really wonder how P.J would handle the *successful* crossing of the Old Forest.

For all these reasons, don't cut Bombadil !

When I heard P.J talking about the necessity of a Trilogy to cover the full story, I thought he was sincere, and that it wasn't an excuse for making three times more money.

Finally, I think this is Tolkien-Movies.com role to give "official" news on this serious matter, and I'm looking forward for such a piece of news.
