Trying to Avoid the Picture Page

I personally can't wait for the release of these movies. I've been trying to avoid the pictures page on this site purely & simply to try to stop myself loosing out on any of the impact I might encounter when the films go on general release - but I can't. What I've seen I've really liked & if anything it's whetted my appetite even more. My view is that, as with most things, if you go into the movie and are prepared to be transported to Middle Earth then you will be. The first viewing should be used to enjoy the film for what it is, experience the majesty of the works. Reserve criticism until after the film has finished or your time will be spent nit-picking & the magic will be gone before it's started.
