Bombadil and Astin

First of all, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm really cheesed about Bombadil being cut! That means one of two things: they'll cut out the Barrow-wight, or there will be some cheesie rescue from the Barrow.

Secondly, I noticed in the actor profiles, both Karl Urban (Eomer) and Sean Astin (Sam) have something about them being brother to McKenzie Astin, but they have different last names. Are they half-brothers? Or is there some sort of mistake or what?
