I agree with many of the people who write here that it is impossible to accurately capture the entire LOTR trilogy in three movies. 6 hours is just not enough, maybe 106 hours. But I really hope that this movie will spur more movies about the amazing Tolkien world. Perhaps one of my favorite stories, The Fall of Fingolfin, which is probably much easier to make a movie of and not lose to much of the story and more of the right length for a 2 hour feature.

I hope PJ will succeed but I still hope that there will be more movies about LOTR and the other works of Tolkien. Just as someone wrote about Shakespeare's plays. How many movies and plays has been done from Hamlet, Macbeth, Romeo & Juliet, just to mention a few. Make many movies about a good story. We are bound to hate some and hopefully love other versions.
