I have heard lots of good things about Mortensen playing Aragorn, and, in my book, Sean Bean IS Boromir. The only ones I am displeased with are Eowyn and Arwen. Eowyn looks too old and Arwen too young. (She was over 2000 years old, after all. Even elves show their maturity.)

I have seen Sean Astin in "Rudy" and he was spectacular. I think he'll be a perfect Sam. I don't know about Eomer; the only time I ever saw him was when he had a helmet on.
