Standard response to embarassing newsstory: "I was misquoted", or, in this case, LA Times reporter got it all wrong. Wonder if the rest of the interview about the "McCool" movie is wrong, too?

I'll admit, the reporter may have gotten it wrong. But Liv's remarks about not paying attention were in the context of explaining that she didn't pay attention to the other members of the cast and the filming. Not exactly method acting. Read it again, and read between the lines, which is what one does to get to the truth of the matter.
