I've been a devout LOTR fan for some time and have reviewed many images and the trailers that are current available. I think PJ has done a great job in casting most of the roles. In particular, the actors playing Frodo, Sam, Legolas, Galadriel, Gimli, Gandalf, and Boromir are terrific.... just as I pictured them. However, I am disappointed with the casting of Aragorn. I viewed Aragorn as taller than Boromir, with more of a Daniel Day Lewis type of look. The images I have seen do not convey the same rugged, yet noble look that is necessary for the part. I also don't think the casting for Arwen, Elrond, or Faramir were good efforts. Even so, I am truly looking forward to these movies. Just hoping they don't turn out like the original Dune, another great book that didn't translate into a good movie.
