What I've seen of it so far (websites & trailers) has me shivering with suspense; but one mayor flaw will definitely be Elijah Wood, who is not only much too young, but seems to have been casted for the sole reason of getting the kids into the cinema. As he is one main character, someone should have taken care to get a better actor than this. (this must not be taken personally, but is just my emotional response to this face, which simply didn't come up in my imagination when devouring Tolkien). On the other hand I'm happy with most of the cast. Peter Jackson did some fine movies, so did most of the actors. Now it's upon them to rescue the project!
