Praying to Eru

Well all, I hope and pray to Eru the one that Arwen is not some sword toting adverturess in the new movie. It is bad enough that Tom Bombadil is being left out of the The Fellowship. It seems however, from the bits and pieces I've seen on trailers that Arwen is going to be some Xena wannabe. Jackson had a chance to really make something of this, I hope he comes through for us rabid Tolkien fans, but somehaow I doubt it.
