Getting Worried

I was hoping that the movie will be a dramatic adventure. But from watching those Burger King ads, the movie obviously is a horror show. Look at those crummy plastic glasses, and listen to the pretentious voice-over intoning "Arwen the Elf". And what timing: "Harry Potter" is hot, and here comes this horrible ad campaign for "Arwen the Elf."

And have you noticed, all of the scenes in the movie trailers seem to be shot either at night or in poor lighting. It's hard to see anything.

I will confess, I saw the first show on the first day of Ralph Bashki's cartoon version when it was released in the theaters. The audience (all rabid Tolkien fans) laughed in all the wrong places. I'm now getting worried about Jackson's movie.
