Elrond Other Names: Master Elrond, Elrond Half-Elven Date of Birth: Unknown Date of Death: Unknown Height: 5 to 6 ft. Hair Color: Black Parents: Eärendil, Elwing History: Elrond's life and deeds stretch and intertwine with many of Middle-earth. He received Vilya, the Ring of Air, from Gil-galad and he was in Mordor with Isildur and Celeborn at the first defeat of Sauron in the Black Years. He advised Isildur not to take the One Ring, but Isildur took it anyway. Being part of the White Council he was very involved in the decisions that led to the destruction of Sauron. At the end of the Third Age he consented to the marriage of his daughter, Arwen Evenstar, to King Elessar. At the Grey Havens, with Gandalf and Galadriel, he revealed Vilya and left Middle-Earth forever to return to Valinor. |
