The Dominion
August 26, 1999In Search of Ents
The studio of Peter
Jackson's Lord of the Rings is clearly advanced in sorting out its "Ents", the
ancient trees that help save Middle Earth. When staff at Lower Hutt religious retreat
Frederic Wallis House found people wandering their historic garden asking permission to
cut branches for filming, it was pointed out politely that the tulip tree was one of very
few in the country and the twisted willow was holding up the garage. |
