The rumors have been flying for what seems
forever that Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman have signed on to Peter Jacksons Lord of
the Rings project, but New Line is staying mum on the subject. Now, the United
Kingdoms Guardian newspapers FilmUnlimited website is reporting that the
signing is a done deal. The site says that the two actors will be introduced at the end of
the first film.
FilmUnlimited is also reporting that Terrance Stamp (Star
Wars: Episode One -- The Phantom Menace) may be joining the trilogys cast, though no
specific role is given.
