Blind Guardian Contacts Peter Jackson

On Wednesday the 8th, Jon Shaffer (guitarist of Iced Earth) and Hansi Kursch (vocalist of Blind Guardian) visited Greece to promote their new, highly expected side-project "Demons & Wizards." I had an interview with them, as well as some time to talk to Hansi about the status of their efforts to contact Mr. Jackson for the soundtrack.

Hansi told me that while he is promoting the side-project, the other three members of the band have sent a demonstration to the secretary of Mr. Jackson (that must have happened last week as I understood ) and they are just expecting a reply.

The tracks cannot be compared to any previous work they have done because they have a different style than metal music . Hansi also remarked that it is a pity that he did not have time to record any lyrics for the tracks since he was on the promo-tour.
