Lord of the Rings at Kaitoke Regional Park

Filming of Peter Jackson's Latest film -- an adaption of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord
of the Rings -- has already taken place at two locations in or near Upper
Hutt, and now it seems a third can be added to the list.

In the past few months, filming has taken place at Harcourts Park, and at
the quarry at the bottom of Haywards Hill. Now, a stunning building has
cropped up at the waterworks area of Kaitoke Regional Park. Last week
construction appeared to still be happening, meaning filming could be in the
very near future.

Jackson's film company has remained very tight-lipped about it's activites,
refusing to comment to the media on all occasions.
