Marton Csokas to Play Celeborn

We've leared from TheOneRing.net that Marton Csokas has secured the part of Celeborn in LOTR. This casting news was scheduled to be released on April 4th, but the folks at our companion site got it released early.

Csokas is a seasoned theatre actor with over 25 different works with his name. He's also been in a few films, including Broken English (1996) and Jack Brown Genius (1994) and was recently on Hercules and Xena.

Interestingly enough, Csokas was born in New Zealand, where the LOTR trilogy is being filmed. You can click here to view Coskas' IMDB entry.
