ShoWest Teaser Footage Release Possible

Rodrigo, webmaster of Ringzone, dropped me a line today with information on whether or not some of the footage seen at ShoWest will be made available to the online world. Rodrigo e-mailed Gordon Paddison and New Line.

Gordon says that he must first ask Peter Jackson for permission, then the footage must be re-edited with new music in order to prevent copyright problems. Music used on the film at ShoWest is not cleared for broadcast.

"But never fear!" Gordon says, "The second I saw the first clips of the reel, I started pleading with everyone at New Line to allow me to put it online."
