David Wenham as Faramir

Tol Galen is reporting that Ethan Hawke has stepped down as Faramir and has been replaced by Australian actor David Wenham.

Wenham has starred in such films as The Boys (1997) and A Little Bit of Soul (1998). He was born in 1966 and his IMDB entry is available here.

I'm going to check with some of my contacts and see if I can get some confirmation. I'm skeptical, though, since it hasn't been reported elsewhere.
