One of the spies from our sister site, The Realm of the Ring, saw a truck driving down a Wellington motorway. On the back of it was a stone tower, a photo of which is avaialble to the right. They have either completely finished filming or are moving it to a new location to film.

Also, for those of you interested in winning some goodies, The Realm of the Ring is holding a contest similar to the competitions we hold here. All you need to do to enter is to create some fan art about the LOTR movies and send it over there. At the end of the 10 days the best ones will be picked out and the winner(s) will be notifyed by e-mail. The prize is a set of 8 leaves that were used in the LOTR filming at Harcourt Park. One of TheOneRing.net's contacts is reporting that a casting call for extras will be made around April 13th through the 15th in Ruapheu and Te Anau.
