Update on Events Last Week

Well, as most of you probably know, we had some down time last week. I'm not at liberty to discuss the causes of our server problems, but I can assure you that they will not crop up again. The site is now running normally.

The problems that occured last week were varied. Some of you, upon visiting the site, might have received a blank default page for Microsoft's IIS 4.0. Others reported that a prompt popped up asking for a username and password. These people were concerned that we were requiring "membership" in our site to visit. Let me set this straight right here. We will NEVER require membership to visit our site. Our site will always be free.

Now on to the good news. One nice thing that happened this week was that I got a cable modem! For you modem users, it really makes all the difference, and if you have cable service available in your area I encourage you to get it.

Anyway, now that I'm attached to the Internet at blazing (well, not blazing, but fast) speeds, updates to the site will come more frequently and breaking news will be posted faster. Please stick with us as your source for LOTR movie news and I promise you no dissapointments whatsoever.
