Rings Film Charges

A man said to have put unauthorised Lord Of The Rings footage on the Internet is facing charges in Auckland District Court this morning. The Evening Post understands the man was arrested after a police operation in Wellington. The man, in his 30s, is facing charges of reproducing a document, theft as a servant, dealing with a reproduced document and money laundering. Wellington Police would not comment.
