Helm's Deep Status Report

Here is an update on the current condition of Helm's Deep.

The castle miniature has been taken down. Jackson and company have obviously finished filming this piece.

The fake cliff pieces by the main gate have also been taken down. We'll try to get a photo of the actual state of the set very soon.

We've also learned that there is a new LOTR set being constructed in Wingate, which is near Lower Hutt. The Gates of Moria set is also located in this vicinity.

A map of the Lower Hutt area is available to the right. We hope to have more information on this set very soon.
