Helm's Deep Status Report

They crew have started taking down the Main Gate part of the Helm's Deep set. There were surveyors all around up the top of the set with surveying tools yesterday. Getting ready for the Minas Tirith set I presume.

What's left of the Helm's Deep set is located at the Dry Creek Quarry in Lower Hutt, not too far from Wellington. It's really the perfect location to film castle scenes. A map of the general area is available to the right.
