Lord of the Rings staff put on a large street party in Clyde on Saturday night.

About 250 cast and crew members rocked to two bands and a DJ until 9.30am yesterday and fireworks lit the night sky to celebrate the end of filming work at Poolburn Dam, 40km east of Alexandra, and the first birthday of the crew's second unit.
