Bakshi Lord of the Rings DVD Coming

I received an email from Fantasy Films (Saul Zaentz's company) stating that Warner Home Video will be re-releasing Bakshi's LOTR next year on DVD. I would really like to see the film get the deluxe treatment it deserves, such as a well needed remastering in widescreen from a new print, new sound, and hopefully with deleted scenes, storyboards,trailers/TV spots and extras. Most of all I would enjoy having Bakshi contribute an audio commentary,where he could talk about the making of the film in detail.

I am encouraging all Tolkien fans to write to Warner Home Video to support this release. The address is:
