Ioreth to Appear in 'The Return of the King'
Matthew Bass

Michael Martinez of Xenite.org has received word that Ioreth will be appearing in the third part of The Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King.

It appears that the actress who will portray Ioreth doesn't want to be made known quite yet. Michael had this to say:

She wants to avoid getting into trouble, however, so she isn't talking to anyone (for now). I could publish her name but having already asked for a chance to speak with her and been turned down I feel like I should just let it go.

Still, I wanted to share the knowledge that this minor character made the cut. I think some people will be happy to hear that.

This is just more proof that Jackson is staying suprisingly true to J.R.R. Tolkien's books! If you recall, Ioreth was a woman of lore in the Houses of Healing at Minas Tirith. She tended to Faramir after he got wounded.
