Response to Disappointing VHS
Matt

I think another reason why New Line (Warner Brothers) hasnt even marketed the VHS edition is because they are trying to kill it as fast as possible. By allowing almost no distinction in the price, 14.99 for VHS and 19.99 for DVD, a clear majority of the people will opt for the DVD over the VHS edition. The DVD is higher quality and has more special features. Add in the sound and it becomes worth the extra 5 bucks. Warner's did the same thing with Harry Potter.

VHS is quickly becoming outdated as DVD players and dvd disks are becoming cheaper
