Anduril... Amongst Other Things
Annatar

Aiglos, I dunno what to tell you, or more to the point how many different ways I can say it, but when I'm speaking from Annatar/Sauron's viewpoint, things in the main are not meant to be taken too seriously. God man! lighten up! Ok so I said Annatar was master of Middle-Earth... we ALL know Sauron never conquered so you don't have to point it out. As I said before somewhere in this forum I only endevour to lighten the mood and humbly offer a different point of view, thats all. Another thing, about the me "neglecting" to mention Jesus expelling the money changers, I've already submitted a post explaining that circumstance. Such explusion can hardly be placed in the same league as Gandalf lopping mens heads off (or at least advising it to be done, Harad, Dunlendings etc). Besides the Expulsion was an act of love, Jesus was trying to reform a corrupt Temple system, pointing out its flaws. Jesus won his final victory over evil through one act of self sacrifice and love. No armies, no fighting, NO VIOLENCE (on His part. Appologies for caps), just a figure dying on a cross and not holding His death against those who perpetrated it (everyone), forgiving us all. He did not suit up in armour subdue the Scribes, Pharasees (spelling?), High Priest etc nor did he destroy the pagan Roman Empire with a blitzkrieg attack and nor did he make a swift side trip to hell to dice the devil and Co to pieces. Jesus won his victory through meeting evil with Love. Gandalf did not, he advised violence. Which is why Gandalf (or any other character) is not the Jesus figure of Middle-Earth. Back to Lord Of The Rings, I was just wondering if Narsil when it reappears in the movie as Anduril, will it flicker red like flame as in the book (not 100% as to the correct description of it)? Just a thought. Oh anyone know if Grond at Minas Tirith looked like the orginal or was it only named after the hammer? A snarling wolfshead on a hammer smiting down the peasant Fingolfin. Ahh what a sight for sore eyes that was. See you all later :) P.S I've still got a few rings left, reserve yours now before they are all gone! Wow your friends by taking over a continent and receive 50% off all Levis and Wranglers at all participating stores where you present your designated Ring (Offer expires 1st Sept 2002).
