Reality Check
Moon77
I have been reading the views put by all who have seen the "Fellowship of the Ring" with growing dismay and irritation.
Instead of picking his film to pieces, and pointing out departures from the book, why don't we just aknowledge the fact that Mr Jackson's foray into the world of Tolkien, and his attempt to bring it to the big screen has been a complete success which has bee long overdue, and considering the masterful effort involved, i think he can be allowed the slight plot deviations employed in the film due to running time and the sheer enormity of such an undertaking.
So what if Arwen replaced Glorfindel in the Filght to the Ford. It worked, and in the end it worked, and remember, it is just one person's interpretation of the Tokien's work.
Give the man a break and the credit he deserves.
