Morgoth and the Maia

In response to Radagast da Fool who was wondering if Glaurung was a weak maia in a dragon form, I read that many of Morgoth's "creations" were once good maia that he "took to the dark side" and twisted into evil beings. Then Maia like Ungoliant were maia that originally belonged to Morgoth and were just plain evil like Morgoth.
