Radagast Da Fool
The Elven Rings

This is just a cool detail i noticed in Tolkien's novels. It is a similarity between the elven rings and the silmarils. Here are the three elven rings: 1. Vilya, Elrond's ring of air; the most powerful of the rings. 2. Narya, Gandalf's ring of fire. and 3. Nenya, Galadriel's ring of water. There were also three silmarils. Earendil carried the most powerful of them (the one that Beren cut from the crown of Morgoth) into the air in his boat. Maeglin jumped into a firey chasm, taking his silmaril with him. Maglor threw his silmaril into the sea. See the resemblance? air (the most powerful) fire, and water. Also, along with air being the most powerful, Manwe, the king of the Valar was the "god of air."
Cool, huh?
