Re: Mattew and Facial Hair on Elves
Elured

My good Mattew it always pleases me to aknowledge such an admiration for the Professor. Indeed his wordsmith is amazing and deep. Still, about your comment on the movies, although i share the same opinion about the lack of singing and poetry on FotR, i must tell you that the extended DVD version of the movie will feature Galadriel´s gifts, the elves going west as Sam and Frodo leave the Shire, and some more batlle scenes... alas, our dear Tom Bombadillo is still left out with the sweet Goldberry. Anyway, about your concern with the Two Towers ( not the Twin Towers, because this would get even more trouble than the original title) i advise you to search over the internet for much information has already been given. Treebeard will appear, as the Ents attacking Isengard, some wargs are also speculated to be featured as a 45 minutes sequence of Helms Deep batlle. Search sites like WaroftheRing to see some pictures that i guess will be new for you and be amazed...
About facial hair on Elves i cant remember reading anything on the amount of time they would need to grow one but if one reads the last chapter of RotK, when the leaving partie meats Cirdan at the Havens you will find the description of him stating he has a beard.

Well, hope to have been of some help... farewell...
