Leaked Film and Elven Facial Hair
Elliand

It amazes me that college students are so hell -bent on ripping every movie that comes to the screen. So many movies have leaked out onto the Internet lately that it amazes me that profits at the box office don't drop (although I understand the that college student population is a small one). It is an amazing insult and disrespect to the cinemas which are always trying to gain respect as a legitimate artistic medium, (worthy of masterpeices ect.)
Being a college student, I understand the joys of being computer/internet savvy to pull off pirating a movie, but it seems to ruin it for everyone else (who are all now tempted to download the pirated versoin) and for yourself, especially with a film with the potential epic nature of TTT. To see it in a dark little dorm room on poor quality resolution must ruin the experience for the college student as well. Thus, it seems like these pirates are not only being unethical and criminal, they aren't really getting their time and effort's worth.
As for facial hair. Didn't Return of the King clearly state that Cirdan's beard was long? I was first under the impression that they could not grow beards, but apparently they can. I don't remember any reference to that in Silmarillion. Maybe someone can enlighten me on that one. Cheers.
