Tolkien's Early Works
Ray S.

For all of you Lord of the Rings fans, I have some good information to give. I understand that this site probably has tons of new fans after the movie. If you new fans have read The Lord of the Rings, then you should move onto Tolkien's better(that's right, I said better) works. First, you should definitely read The Silmarillion. Then, you can move onto Unfinished Tales if you want to learn some more interesting information. Once you have completed these books, you can move onto the History of Middle-Earth. The first five books deal with the writing of The Silmarillion, the next four deal with the writing of The Lord of the Rings. Finally the next three deal with miscellaneous items works. These books are great, so ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
