Re: Boromir
Laurie

I agree totally. Boromir was always one of my favorite characters. His name "Boromir the Bold" certaily suits him. When I saw the movie (I saw it before reading the book), it was amazing and heartbreaking watching him fighting as he was getting shot. That passage in the book was even more amazing. Some people say that he was evil because he wanted the ring. But lets not forget why! He wanted it to save his city. In the movie, when he's comfronting Frodo, he slams down his pile of wood as he says this. Everytime I hear this, m heart breaks. After he attacked Frodo for it, he realized what he had done and tried to call him back.
