Religion Overboard? Oh Pleassssee

Okay, I am not here to offend anyone or to be mean or stupid, but I think that this Tolkien\Christianity debate should stop. I would have loved it to go on, but unfortanetly I think people are getting mad and...I think some people have overreacted about it. Yeah, I know they don't like the thought, but I read over some of some posts from awhile back and everyone needs to take a chill pill! Please... everyone calm down.
I'm a Christian, and I see that LOTR has some imagery in it from Christianity. But, I don't think there are references or allegory in LOTR, because Tolkien said there wasn't. So I just believe that there is some imagery, that is all.

In reply to Elfhem- "Just for the record I am a firm believer in God but at a period of my life in which I am exploring all religions and questioning strongly my birth religion , Christianity." I would like to tell Elfhem that to keep the belief in God strong. I do not believe it is right to question Christianity if you are a Christian. He is the One true God, Elfhem. I hope and pray you stay loyal to God. He won't let you down, I promise you.

Well that is what I wanted to say. I was just going crazy with the people who were against this conversation because I thought a few overreacted. Well bye!
