There is mention of a new character in the Two Towers, The Witch King, who is apparently the leader of the Nazgul. I read this somewhere on another site for the LOTR, but I first encountered this character's name in the reproduction of a ring (yes! like Aragon's two-headed dragon ing and Galadriel's Ring of Water) for the Witch King at The Noble Collection website, who is making LOTR jewelry. I wondered to myself who the Witch King was, as there was no mention of him in the movie or video???
Remember the "unveiling" of the Nazgul on the top of the Watchtower when Frodo put on the Ring and they looked ghostly and white? The Witch King also looks like this, but more in a physical form, according to the one picture I saw on a website....and wears a gold crown on his head. His ring is depicted with a red-eye stone (like the One Eye of Sauron)- I guess we will have to wait for the release of the Two Towers to find out more on the Black Riders and this new leader??? If anyone has any information on this Witch King, please let "us" know! I don't know how helpful this has been ...
