The Ringwraiths

Elbereth's comment that the Ringwraiths would have died withouot the rings is probably not true. Gollum had been without the ring for over seventy years at the time of the story and was 555 years old, but still alive. Still, I agree that the Ringwraiths must have worn the rings simply because Gandalf said so.

By the way, I totally agree with Quirk's dislike of the Lothlorien scene in the movie. At night, the whole place looked way too ghostly-it was almost frightening. I was still able to enjoy the movie as a work of art totally separated (well, almost totally) from the book.
