The True Ainulindale
Annatar

There was Eru, the One, who in Arda is called Iluvatar: first he made his loyal servant Melkor, then the rest of the brethren of the Valar. After which the One made the Maiar to be helpers to the Valar in all things. A note sounded and the choirs of Ainur sang with Eru, bringing into form the world and its heavens. A discordant note sullied the perfect song as certain Ainur followed their own form of the creation song. The song inspired by the creator faltered and faded. Melkor rallied to Eru and together they sang in harmony driving back the cacophony of the rebel Ainur. Although outnumbered Eru and his faithful followers led by Melkor eventually subdued the wayward Ainur. Freedom was the songs heart, freedom to pursue an individual’s own destiny free from constraints, free from oppression. The rebels sort to control and force their own ideals onto others, but the Creator stopped them. However, the harm was done, and the world and its heavens were created flawed. The rebel Ainur came to power and created their own world order of control, Valar control Maiar, Maiar control Elves, Elves control Humans. All three groups feared the power of the Humans, whose intelligence and strength could outstripped them all, only by denying Eru’s gift to Humans of immortality, could these rebel Ainur control them. Melkor in his dismay tried to free the Elves but alas they had seemed to become one with their masters. Melkor the holy now instructed his followers to uphold the ideals of Eru and forever struggle against the usurpation of power of the Valar. From this, great work was accomplished and some of the Elves saw the Valar for what they were, evil controlling beings. But alas, even this triumph was marred as the now free Elves sort to dominate the newly arrived humans as the Valar had dominated them. To save humans, the hope of the world, now became Melkors mission. This is still his mission although he has been confined by the evil powers. The Lord Annatar has struggled to loosen the chain the Elves, who have now returned to the servitude of the Valar, have imposed on all humans and has always sort to free the Holy one from his confinement. Defeat followed defeat and yet the Valar influence was slowly removed from the world. The Lord Annatar in his love for all things tried to regain the Elves still living east of the sea. Gifts of knowledge were given to the Elves and from this rings were made. Rings of power. Rings of domination! Annatar heartbroken and in desperation sort to limit the power of the rings by creating a counter force, a ring of such power that could subdue the ravages of the other nineteen. As even the Elvish propaganda has reported Annatar was defeated and his ring destroyed. Wounded nigh until death I fled to the deep dark places of the world, to heal and recover. Lost now is most of my power, yet still stronger than any elf am I. Now hundreds of millennia later I have returned, to finally subdue the enemies of all humans, the Valar and to allow Eru’s gift to finally be bestowed upon the world. Already some have heard the call, Arina, Alowyn, Brett C, to name just a few. Now is OUR time, now is the time for FREEDOM!!!
