I'd Like to Add...

Okay, I would like to add my own response to this whole "Christian debate" thing. Frankly, I have no idea where all the "angels and demons and anti-Christ" thing come in, but basically, the people were kind of pagens. They referred to the Valar as gods and goddeses. I mean, don't you see the relationship between the Valar and the Greek gods? Manwe, was kind of like Zeus for example. But there is one thing in common with Lord of the Rings and ALL religons (hint: emphasis on the all, it's not just Christianity that shares a relationship, Jews and Muslims believe this too) is that there is one superior being, hint: God. In the case of LotR, the superior being happens to be named Eru Illuvatar. And plus, I thought this was a Tolkien based website. I wasn't aware that religious talks happened on Tolkien websites.
