Laurie, I think you better go check out the movie again. When he jumps down on the Uruks Aragorn shouts 'Elendil', the name of the king killed by Sauron at the start of the movie and Aragorn's ancestor, not Earendil, the name of the star whose light powers the phial Galadriel gave Frodo when he left Lorien [who is, of course, also an ancestor of Aragorn's - big family].
