Horses and Silmarillion
Elfhelm

Phew . Just finished Silmarillion today . That is probably my favorite book . Thanks to whoever recommended it . I am a pretty new Tolkein fan , I just got into it my accident from forgetting my book in eng class last year and swiping a book from underneath my neighbouring peers chair , called "Fellowship of the Ring " . Since then , I have been obsessed . Imagine my ecsatcy when I heard about the movie . Anyways , for anyone confused about the history of the elves and the differnt types as I was , get the Silmarillion and brace yourself for immense detail and amazing writing ! It cleared the whole mess in my mind . Thanks for everyone who explained the whole elf sorting ordeal . Greatly appreciated ! Had to read it twice though to understand the whole stash of details and such . Another question to pose . When was Gondolin created , and how ?
One last thing . I am obsessed with the Horses in Two Towers ! Can anyone give me the name of a site with really good quality pictures of the horses , particualarly Shadowfax and Arod ? Thanks !
