Can We Stick to the Movie?
Rune of Mirkwood

I have been reading, since being on this Forum, many different points of view of Christianity - this is a Tolkein Movie Site Forum...about the movie and characters. If people want to debate Christianity and their beliefs, they should go to another website. I don't see how any of this ties into Peter Jackson's creation and epic "fantasy" movie. If everyone wants to downplay and criticize his movie, fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion -- it was HIS MOVIE, HIS INTERPRETATION, and everyone I know of has loved it! At the end of the movie, I know myself, I didn't want it to stop! Now, we have been waiting anxiously for the sequel and that it suppose to be even more fantastic! After we all see it in December, there will be an entire year of debate on The Two Towers! If feel these people who do nothing but criticize how Peter Jackson left out this, or didn't do this, should consider the possibility that they have to make the movie complete within a decent time-frame and no make it so lengthy. Personally, with highly opinionated critics, I say to them: "If you can do a better job, than do it!" - This movie, as everyone has stated and agreed with, has MADE HISTORY. And please, even though I respect those who have their spiritual advise and comments, let's not forget this is a movie forum! Tolkein himself, if he was alive today and signed on here, would probably get quite a kick out of reading all of this!
