Which Two Towers?

I have often wondered which two towers Tolkin is refering to in the title. I have felt that Minus Morgal and Minus Arnor had fought each other over the years represented the whole war between good and evil. Barad Dur and Orthanic represent the leaders of Evil. Orthanic and Cirith Ungul represent the two towers at the end of each respective book (III and IV).
