Seven Stones
Tomt

Seems to me a couple of the stones were lost in a shipwreck before the fall of the North Kingdom. Then of course there were the three accounted for in Book Five. Cirdan put the last stone on the ship with the Ringbearer's. The seventh I can't seem to place.
Ahh yes, the "chief and master of these (stones) was under the Dome of Stars at Osgiliath before its ruin". That accounts for the seventh.
